The latest Growing Towards Wellness project ‘GroFit’ is a community based integration project engaging voluntary inpatients and outpatients of the South West Country Health Service – Bunbury Psychiatric Hospital.

Using horticulture, health and fitness as a vocational and rehabilitation medium the participants of the program enjoy supported non accredited training in health and fitness within the hospital grounds and offsite.

With support from the local Dalyellup Lions Club, The Bunbury Farmers Market and South Bunbury Football Club ‘GroFit’ is another testament to the success of breaking down the stigma associated with mental illness in our community.

GroFit is on every Saturday from 10.30 am to 11.30 am at the South Bunbury Football Club
