Industry to Recovery
Growing Towards Wellness - Industry to Recovery is a community
based integration project supporting marginalised community members and individuals diagnosed with mental illness in an adult education and learning program.
The project engages a mix of mental health community members,
voluntary inpatients and outpatients of the Bunbury and South West Psychiatric Hospital in industry based and community based initiatives.
Funded by the Department of Training & Workforce Development and the City of Busselton participants of the project are gaining a new practical skills set and entering stages of work readiness with increased confidence which in turn is taking them a step closer to their recovery.
